SBU librarians Kate Kasten and Laurel Scheinfeld spoke to incoming veteran students at an orientation held by the Office of Veterans Affairs on January 17th. Kate and Laurel discussed the ways in which the library helps students to enhance their learning, research, and overall academic experience at SBU. It was a wonderful opportunity to help out students for whose service we have so much respect.
The next orientation for veteran students will be held on January 31st, and both librarians are looking forward to meeting more of the new students and learning about their academic interests!
